59/365 - Crazy Hat Day

Today was Crazy Hat Day at Lil E's daycare. He is starting to become a big fan of hats and I love it! Daddy put on Lil E's hat and they were trying to spy on mommy!

And here is another shot just for fun.

58/365 - Faith

I think this one speaks for itself.

57/365 - Working Hard

Lil E. was working hard at his tool bench tonight. I am not sure what he was making, but his imagination was going at full force!

56/365 - Ride

Lil E. LOVES to ride the 4-wheeler. He heard his daddy start it up the other day and Lil E. didn't miss a beat running to the door, so he could go ride!

55/365 - Baby G.

My wonderful friends let me photograph their new beautiful baby girl. She was so sweet, but a tough cookie to get to sleep!

54/365 - Breakdown

This shot really cracks me up, because of the story behind it. Lil E was quietly reading his books, when I snuck up on him to snap a picture. He looked up at me and yelled "Nooooo" because he didn't want his picture taken. Here are few extra pictures from the evening.

53/365 - What do you see?

Lil E was enjoying his afternoon snack while watching the puppies in the back yard. He kept telling them to go away. I guess he is not as big of a fan of the puppies as I though. =)

52/365 - Puuuuuuppies!

After a long afternoon filled with doctor visits, we finally made it home to play a bit. The puppies needed some exercise and Lil E was the perfect little man to match their excitement. I wish I had as much energy as the puppies and my son!

51/365 - Fun at Home

Nothing too exciting happening at the house tonight, but Lil E did feed Mickey Mouse, play with Daddy, and color a bit.

50/365 - Car Rides

After a long day of church, lunch with friends, birthday party, and hanging with grandparents, we finally head home to prepare for another week.

49/365 - New Addition

Sweet baby L.G. made her appearance today. Such a beautiful little girl.

48/365 - Baby Toes

I just love baby feet. My little guy is growing so fast, so I have to take in all of these little moments.

47/365 - Long Day

A very long and tiring day at work resulted in a nice piece of Caribbean Rum cake. Delicious!

46/365 - The Little Things

I always love the little things you find when you have a toddler running around the house.

45/365 - Valentine's Day

We had such a relaxing Valentine's Day this year. It was nice to just hangout with my family and have my feet propped up.

44/365 - Space Ship

Ethan's godparents got him this really cool spaceship. We are a little behind the times and just got around to putting it together for him. He loves it! We put his sleeping bag, pillow, and dvd player inside and he just camped out. It was pretty cute!

43/365 - Time to Go

This was the night before we arrived back in Galveston. Had to read all the rules to make sure we got off the boat!

42/365 - Passion Island

I am sure this is the post you all have been waiting on. Pictures from the beautiful Island of Passion. This happens to be the island that many Corona beer commercials were filmed on. It was such a gorgeous place! I also threw in many other photos from our day in Cozumel.

41/365 - Towel Animal

Love the little surprise towel animals that were waiting for us upon the return to our room.

40/365 - Goodbye Galveston

The day we departed from Galveston was chilly and rainy, therefore I didn't stay out on the deck long to snap many pictures.

39/365 - Passports

You may have noticed that I haven't been around for a few days. There is a very good reason for that. =) We went on a cruise to Cozumel. Those that know me well, understand that I am a very last minute packer. By the time I got done getting our stuff ready today, all I could think of to photograph was our passports.

38/365 - Film

Since I have started my photography journey, it has been solely devoted to digital. ClickinMoms has inspired me to try my hand at film, simply for the fun of it. I purchased this cute little camera the other day to take on our upcoming trip, because I figured it would be a good time to learn and practice. Hopefully, some of the pictures will turn out well.  If they do, I will be sure to share them here.

37/365 - Grilling Masters

Tonight, Lil E and my hubby grilled some fabulous burgers. I say fabulous, but truthfully, we haven't eaten them yet. =) I have high hopes though!

36/365 - Playtime

Today, I sat down to put Lil E's shoes on. Instead, he thought it was playtime and brought me a group of toys. I thought it would be a great little time for a picture, so I grabbed the tripod super-quick, since we were about to head out the door. Of course, the remote button became the toy as soon as I busted it out. Not the best picture, technically, but a fun little memory of my boy and I.

35/365 - Gallynapper

As long as I can remember, my family always called these bugs "gallynappers". Well, I married an entomologist who informed me that this is not the correct name. I am sure he could rattle off the scientific name to me, but it would just go in one ear and out the other. These guys really creep me out, but thought it would be fun to take a picture of one anyway.

34/365 - What do you see?

Sorry I didn't get to post a picture yesterday. Unfortunately I was stuck in bed all day with a virus.

So, today Lil E was watching a movie; my goal was to capture the reflection of that movie. Can you guess what movie he is watching?

The Way I View New Beginnings

This year I have joined a group of wonderful ladies from ClickinMoms to complete a monthly photography project called "The Way I View____."  The January theme was "New Beginnings." My little guy had been feeling under the weather, so I decided I wanted to cheer him up by buying him a little surprise.  Many of you know that Lil E is a huge fan of Toy Story 3.  He loves Lotso, Woody, and Buzz.  I ran into the Disney store and found a nice plush Lotso.  I was so excited and couldn't wait to see the expression on Lil E's face when we showed him his surprise.  Of course I had to run and get my camera before he could see his surprise, because I wanted to be sure I captured his reaction.  So, on to the pictures!

He is anxiously waiting to see his surprise!

Oh he is so excited about his Lotso!

Holding on tight!

So there you have it, the New Beginning to a long friendship!

Please click on over to Mandy McElrath's blog to see how she views New Beginnings.

32/365 - Teacakes

When I was growing up, a trip to grandma's house meant a jar full of cookies for me. Not just any kind of cookies, but a jar full of teacakes. Teacakes are very close to sugar cookies but 100 times better....especially when my grandma makes them. =) To this day she still makes me some of her famous teacakes, except now I have to share them with one really cute little dude. I love you Mammaw!
