January Lensbaby Project

You may remember me mentioning that I had a a few projects up my sleeve this year.  One of the projects I was speaking of was The Lensbaby Project.  I have joined up with a wonderful group of ladies from ClickinMoms to put our Lensbaby lenses to use every month.  The lensbaby is a very difficult lens for me to shoot with as it is a manual focus lens and well I can't seem to hardly get anything in focus!  Since it is a challenge for me to use, I have not used it that much since I got it a few months ago.  I am hoping this project will push me to take my time and really learn the ins and outs of this lens and produce some amazing artwork throughout the year.  Here are the images I took this month and please go check out Hertfordshire, UK portrait photographer Claire Lane's January Lensbaby images! 

P52: Week 4 - Weather

We have had some super foggy mornings around here lately and I couldn't resist taking Lil E out and snapping some shots.   Here is one that I love.

P52: Week 2 - Silhouette

I have successfully made it to week 2!  This week's theme was silhouette.  Due to the fact we are experiencing crummy weather, I thought I would try to be a bit more creative and try an indoor shot.  So here we go!  This shot was a lot harder than I anticipated, due to the reflection off the glass.

P52: Week 1 - Happy Birthday/Happy New Year

Today my son turned 3 years old.  I am not sure where exactly the time has gone, but I do know it has been a blast to have him in our lives.  One of his gifts was this Carebear, which he is totally in love with!

This is also the first image of my new project, P52.  Since I failed a P365, I figured one shot per week would be a little bit more manageable.
