February Lensbaby Project

Installment two of my Lensbaby project has arrived.  I am starting to enjoy this lens more each time I use it.  Here are some images I took during the month of February.

 These first two shots were taken when Lil E and I made a tent for him to play in.  He really enjoyed watching his movies in there.

Oh my tulips.  My hubby got these for me for Valentine's day and I had so much fun taking shots of them.

Lensbaby was having a photo contest on their Facebook wall that was Valentine's Day themed and I took this shot for that contest.  I was so surprised when I found out I won a brand new Spark!

Of course I had to play with it and test it out, so here are a couple of shots using the new Spark.  Thank you Lensbaby!

Can't really believe we are already on week 6 of the new year.  This week's theme was texture.  This is a shot of a roll of paper towels.

P52: Week 5 - Low Light Photography

Last week's theme for the P52 was low light photography.  I have had an image in my head that I have been wanting to try and well this theme ended up being perfect for it.  My grandparents have been married for 58 years and I wanted to an image of their hands on my grandfather's oldest bible.  I wanted 1 Corinthians verse 13 in the image as well because I thought it would really pull the image together.  I love how it turned out.

January Blog Circle - Close Up Portraiture

The other project that I will be working on this year is a blog circle made up of some wonderful ladies from ClickinMoms.  Each month we will have a different theme in which we will tackle that month.  This month's theme was Close Up Portraiture.  Of course, my subject was none other than my favorite little boy.  =)
